Hornets Regional Touch are excited to announce that team nominations are now open for the 2026 Don Green Western Junior Championships, to be held on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November at the Glen Willow Regional Sports Complex, Mudgee.

Following an incredible 50% increase in team nominations in 2025, the Don Green Western Junior Championships continue to grow as a major event on the junior representative touch football calendar. With 90 teams competing last year, we’re hoping to make 2026 our biggest tournament yet!

The Championships provide an important opportunity for junior representative teams to compete against affiliates from across the region and beyond, while gaining valuable experience ahead of the NSW Junior State Cup.

The event also provides an opportunity for talented young players to be identified for future Hornets Junior Representative teams competing at NSW Junior Regionals and the TFA National Youth Championships.

We encourage all affiliates to get involved and help us make the 2026 Don Green Western Junior Championships another record-breaking event!

Team nominations close at 5:00pm Monday 26 October 2026.
